Dan Harrison was a 15-year veteran of the Toronto Fire Department when he was tragically killed in a car accident while vacationing in Kent, England. His co-workers at Firehall No. 7 said that Harrison’s “carefree attitude” made him a good co-worker. Like all good firefighters he was “turned on” by the opportunity to save someone’s life or home. Born on February 2, 1950, Harrison grew up and attended school in Toronto’s west end. Dan Harrison was just 39 years old when he died on March 30, 1988.
