Harry Firth

Section J, Lot 3322
Pine Hills Cemetery

Harry Firth was Canada’s motorcycling elder statesman. Born on September 7, 1903 in Yorkshire, England, Harry came to Canada in 1929. For the next 55 years he formed and built Firth Motorcycles, and was known across Canada as Mr. Motorcycle. Needless-to-say, he was a charter member of the Canadian Motorcycle Association. Much of his spare time was devoted to horticulture, and he was a former President and an Honorable Member and Judge of the Canadian Chrysanthemum Society. Harry Firth died in May 2000 at the age of 96.
